Perfect By Tomorrow - Path Less Traveled

I walked down the street pondering my own thoughts
I didn't know the time of day
Read a long message along the wall
And I loved the message it say
It said…

I think all of our lives are dead
Constantly walking with no thoughts in our heads
Long haired hippies preach solstice and zen
And the the trip ends

So I got to thinking, does the trip have to end
Or can it just go on and on?
The path less traveled is the path for me
For now my flight is so long
Oh yeah…

I think all of our lives are dead
Constantly walking with no thoughts in our heads
Long haired hippies preach solstice and zen
And the trip ends

I think all of our lives are dead…

I took a left turn round to old downtown
I put my thoughts in a bottle as I stumbled around
To the bar that I found, as if I'm trying to drown
It was then that it hit me all the booze, bud and whiskey
So I lost track of time a couple of nights
I took the path less traveled looking for a sign
Met the wisest men, the purest preacher
But sensimilla was the greatest teacher

I think all of our lives are dead
Constantly walking with no thoughts in our heads
Long haired hippies preach solstice and zen
But the trip doesn't have to end

It doesn't have to end!
It doesn't have to end!
