Richie Culture Returns with Fifth EP – Dis Music
UK-based reggae artist Richie Culture, hailing from Moseley, Birmingham, makes a powerful return with his highly anticipated fifth EP, Dis Music — a six-track collection produced by longtime collaborator Robbie Melody. The project, released under Trench Rd Roots Records on August 1st, delivers a rich journey through reggae’s timeless sounds.
Following in the footsteps of his previous releases, Dis Music is a testament to Richie Culture’s deep connection to Roots, Reggae, and Rastafari. Known for his conscious lyrics, Richie brings heartfelt messages while Robbie Melody, at the controls, steers the production through Rockers and Rub-A-Dub, Contemporary and Roots Reggae. Together, they honor the foundation while bringing fresh energy to the sound system.
Richie writes with intention—touching on life, family, unity, and togetherness, while offering a plea for positive vibrations. His words speak of strength, resilience, and an unwavering connection to “Dis Music,” the very force that shapes how he faces today’s ever-challenging world. The result is storytelling that is heartfelt, conscious, and never shallow.
This EP also marks a new step in Richie’s creative journey. Taking a more hands-on role, he contributed directly to the hook lines, drum patterns, basslines, and textures—diving deeper into the word, sound, and power, and showcasing his growth as an artist.
Dis Music will be available on all major digital streaming platforms, with a 12” 180gm vinyl edition to follow, available via Bandcamp and select record outlets.
Fans can stay connected with Richie Culture on social media for updates, tour dates, and exclusive content.
