GROUNDATION

Founded in 1998 by Harrison Stafford, Groundation began on the campus of Sonoma State University’s Jazz Program. Harrison brought together the initial lineup by inviting fellow Jazz Performance students including bassist Ryan Newman, keyboardist Marcus Urani, and drummer Jason Bodlovitch to form the foundation of what would become one of modern roots reggae’s most distinctive bands.
