HIGHEST INTENTION
Highest Intention is a modern roots reggae revival band based in Southern California. H.I. honors the tradition of Jamaican roots music intertwined with unique, progressive sound for the modern generation. H.I. combines thoughtful songwriting with heavy roots reggae beats, deep intoxicating bass lines, delightful melodies, and vintage dub style effects. Highest Intention's lyrics stand out in pop-reggae because of the authenticity of the songs' messages. Our mission is to spread unity consciousness through reggae.
A four-piece band (Guitar, Bass, Drums, Keys) H.I. performs classic and contemporary reggae hits and tracks from the original albums "Universal Light" and "Green Love”. Highest Intention plays regularly along the west coast and is a regular opener for Pato Banton internationally. When Highest Intention plays, the people dance!
The band is available to perform live anywhere in support of their 2nd album, Green Love. They are also currently also working on a collaboration with reggae legend, Duane Stevenson.
